Federico Weil has been an entrepreneur in the real estate industry for over twenty years.
Before starting Urbana, Federico was the founder, chairman and CEO of TGLT (BCBA:TGLT), one of the leading real estate development and construction companies in Argentina and Uruguay. For 15 years, he was responsible for the strategic direction of the company, overall management of the firm, its financing activities, the pursuit of new development opportunities and corporate acquisitions. During his tenure at TGLT, the company developed over 6 million sf in South America, designed by some of the top architects in the World.
Earlier in his career, Federico was a co-founder of Adeco Agro (NYSE: AGRO), a leading South American farmland company, initially funded by Soros Fund Management. He is a co-founder and currently serves on the board of AGL Capital (a lending and securitization company), Agilis (a company specializing in home and car equity lending activities) and Mercado McCann (the leading advertising agency in Argentina). He also serves on the board of overseers of Aish HaTorah.
Federico received a BS and MS in Engineering from Universidad of Buenos Aires, a post graduate degree in Metropolitan Urbanism also from Universidad de Buenos Aires, and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Mariano is a partner at Urbana Partners. In 2015 Mariano led Urbana’s first investments in Spain.
Before co-founding Urbana, Mariano also co-founded AGL and Agilis, two specialty finance and fintech companies focused on originating consumer finance, mortgages, and asset-backed loans, and is an active player in the local capital markets. Mariano also took part in the initial stages of Megainver, which today has grown to be the second largest non-bank asset manager in Argentina.
Mariano previously worked at General Electric and GE Capital in the US for 10 years. Before returning to Argentina in 2008, he was CFO for GE Capital in Latin America, based in Mexico City.
Mariano holds a BS in Economics from Universidad de San Andres (Buenos Aires).

Federico Wilensky
Partner
Federico Wilensky is a transactional lawyer, with extensive experience on corporate finance, real estate and business matters, including project financings, capital markets transactions, M&A and complex corporate restructurings.
Before joining Urbana Partners, Federico acted as General Counsel of TGLT. In such capacity, Federico was in charge of structuring, negotiating and leading all legal matters involved in complex M&A, private equity, real estate assets acquisitions and divestitures and capital markets transactions, as well as managing the company’s legal strategy in all business matters and overseeing the company’s compliance program. Prior to his in-house experience at TGLT,
Federico was a partner at Pérez Alati, Grondona, Benites, Arntsen & Martínez de Hoz (h), a top full-service Argentine law firm, mostly focused in M&A, debt and equity issuances in local and international capital markets, securitizations, debt restructurings, project financing and general corporate law issues. Federico also worked as an international associate in the capital markets and M&A departments at Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP (New York, U.S.A.).
Federico graduated with honors from Torcuato Di Tella University (Buenos Aires), and holds a Master’s degree in Law (LLM) from Columbia University School of Law, where he was awarded the Stone Scholarship for his outstanding academic performance.

Nick has over 20 years of experience operating as a real estate investment adviser in the UK markets, having completed in excess of £2 Billion of transactions with particular specialism in Offices, Industrial & Logistics and Portfolio transactions. Before joining Urbana Partners, Nick held multiple leadership roles within the UK advisory firm Lambert Smith Hampton (owned by LON:CWD), including National Head of Capital Markets, Regional Director for London, South East, South West and Wales as well as National Head of the Transactional Business. Nick is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and the UK’s Investment Property Forum (IPF) and holds an Honours Degree in Urban Estate Management from Kingston University.

Edward Olins
Non-Executive Partner
Edward has over 20 years of UK real estate experience. He joined DE & J Levy LLP as a graduate surveyor and became a partner in 2000. He left the partnership in 2003 to join London & County Estates Limited as Investment Director. In 2006, he joined Circle Property (LON:CRC) a leading property company where he became COO when the company listed in 2016. Edward is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) and holds both a BSc (Hons) degree in Urban Estate Management from University of Westminster and the IoD Certificate in Company Direction.

Juan Martin Tawil
Real Estate Investment Associate
Before joining Urbana’s team, Juan was the lead financial analyst for real estate projects at Buenos Aires City Government. During his time in the public sector, he embraced his experience in project management by leading real estate-related public-private partnerships. Juan took part in executive education programs for Smart Cities and Real Estate Management at his alma mater, Universidad Torcuato Di Tella, where he also received a BA in Business Administration.

Anabella Pioletti
Finance Manager
Chartered accountant with more than 10 years of working experience. Before joining Urbana´s team, Anabella spent many years working in technological startups, from fintech to OTT solutions companies, developing and leading the areas of Administration, Finance and Controllership. Anabella started her career in the audit sector of PwC Argentina, one of the largest worldwide Big4, where she led many audit teams working for clients of various industries. Anabella took part in an executive program of Management at Universidad Torcuato Di Tella, and holds a CPA degree from Universidad de Buenos Aires.
